Oddities: taxidermy, entomology (bugs), and mixed media
About Megan
Megan Juneau is a PNW artist exploring life, loss, and what lingers.
She specializes in taxidermy, entomology (bugs), and mixed media. Her art is often inspired by her love for all things strange, unusual, and macabre.
Every piece is hands-on: she processes every animal, collects and preserves the flowers and greenery, and pins every insect used in her art. It’s important to her that her materials are self-sourced or purchased from small reputable businesses.
With roots in both social work and the art world, she values the power of community, collaboration, and healing that creativity can foster. Megan is very excited to be part of the Collective and to contribute to something bigger.
